Burnham Brown Certified as a Green Firm

Burnham Brown was recently awarded "green" status by a certifying agency, the American Bar Association-EPA, and joined the ranks of hundreds of Bay Area green businesses.  We implemented this program by demonstrating measures to lessen environmental impacts, such as giving preference to energy efficient appliances, purchasing items with high recycled content, including paper and ink, and working with our building manager to increase success with implemented recycling programs. 

Burnham Brown is also a member of the Green Chamber of Commerce, based in Albany, California.  We will also be evaluated by the Alameda County, Bay Area Green Business Program in 2008 for additional certification.  The Bay Area Green Business Program recognizes businesses that operate in an environmentally responsible way.
