Mr. Bodzin began his term as the 2013-14 Chair on October 12, 2013 at the State Bar Annual Convention in San Jose. Mr. Bodzin has been a member of the Executive Committee for this section since 2006. Mr. Bodzin is a frequent speaker and co-chair of the annual "Best Practices for Litigation and Trial" event. He has also served as chair of educational programs and is currently a member of the civil jury instructions subcommittee for the section. As a member and now incoming Chair of the Litigation Section, Mr. Bodzin is committed to the pro bono work involved in delivering high-quality educational and trial practice programs. Mr. Bodzin is also a longtime member of the Defense Research Institute where he has held multiple Publication Chair and Board positions. Mr. Bodzin is a Burnham Brown partner who regularly tries catastrophic personal injury/wrongful death cases and complex business and commercial matters for large corporations, small businesses and individual professionals.
